Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 24, 2026

Introduction

TryOnCloud ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our virtual try-on API service and related applications.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you register for TryOnCloud, we collect your email address, name, and encrypted password. For Shopify merchants, we collect your shop domain and OAuth tokens to enable app functionality.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about your API usage, including timestamps, request counts, and generation quotas to enforce plan limits and provide usage analytics.

Images

When you use our virtual try-on service, we temporarily process person photos and product images. These images are processed using our AI engine and are not permanently stored beyond what is necessary for service operation and debugging.

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain our virtual try-on API service
  • To authenticate and authorize API requests
  • To monitor and enforce usage limits based on your subscription plan
  • To send service-related notifications and updates
  • To improve our AI models and service quality
  • To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
  • To comply with legal obligations

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • API keys are hashed using SHA-256 and never stored in plain text
  • Passwords are encrypted using bcrypt with salt rounds
  • All API communications use HTTPS encryption
  • Database access is restricted and monitored
  • Regular security audits and updates

Data Retention

We retain your account information and usage logs for as long as your account is active. Generated try-on images are retained for 30 days for debugging purposes and then automatically deleted. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at info@tryoncloud.com.

Third-Party Services

TryOnCloud integrates with third-party platforms such as Shopify and WooCommerce. When you connect these integrations, we access only the minimum data necessary to provide the service (e.g., product images, shop domain). We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access and review your personal data
  • Request corrections to inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and data
  • Export your usage data
  • Opt out of marketing communications

Shopify GDPR Compliance

As a Shopify app, TryOnCloud responds to all mandatory GDPR webhooks:

  • customers/data_request: We acknowledge receipt. We do not store Shopify customer PII. Any try-on images are deleted within 24 hours.
  • customers/redact: Upon receiving this webhook, any session data linked to that customer is immediately purged.
  • shop/redact: Sent 48 hours after app uninstall. All shop data, access tokens, and display rules are permanently deleted from our systems.
  • app/uninstalled: When you uninstall the app, your shop access token and configuration are immediately deactivated.

Children's Privacy

TryOnCloud is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.
